Baltimore Beer Babes Celebrates ACBW


Join the Baltimore Beer Babes in celebrating American Craft Beer Week on Monday, May 11th from 6:30 – 8:30PM at The Brewer’s Art in Baltimore (1106 N. Charles St.). We will feature Belgian inspired beer styles brewed from one of the original craft breweries in Baltimore. Beers will be paired with delicious offerings from their new spring menu. One of the brewers will be on hand and we will discuss their unique American twist on, as well as their respect of tradition for Belgian beer styles and why these beers pair so well with such a range of foods. Join us at the 1st co-ed event hosted by the Baltimore Beer Babes (the Baltimore Barley’s Angels chapter), Max’s Taphouse and Maryland Homebrew during the 6th annual Baltimore Beer Week. A very rare one-time Green Flash/Barley’s Angels collaboration beer – Treasure Chest, a Saison aged in red wine barrels with Brettanomyces and plums – will be released to raise money for breast cancer research. This breast cancer charity fundraiser was started by the co-founder of Green Flash Brewing Company, who is also a breast cancer survivor. Other special Green Flash beers will be available during this event. $2.50 Green Flash samples, a West Coast themed buffet and raffle prizes! Baltimore Beer Babes members receive a BOGO token to use for a pint or sample of their choice.

Baltimore Beer Babes Event – American Craft Beer Week

Baltimore Beer Babes logoThe Baltimore Beer Babes are celebrating American Craft Beer Week with an event at Union Craft Brewing in Baltimore (1700 Union Ave.). Lynn, the first woman brewer at Union Craft Brewing, will be leading the tour in the brewery. After the tour and an explanation about how they brew their beers and a history of Union Craft Brewing, we will taste their line-up of craft beers. Only $10 for members gets you tasters of all of their beers plus a pint of your favorite. We will be unveiling our first Baltimore Beer Babe – brewed beer, Riveter RyePA, a rye pale ale, that we brewed during Big Brew! There will be snacks, including some made with Union beers and Riveter RyePA.  Come out and see how delicious our beer is and to celebrate how well craft beer is progressing and why it’s growing at such a high pace in the U.S. Contact Judy at to reserve a spot.
