Style Showdown, Domestics vs. Imports!
Summer is winding down, school (and football season!!!) will be starting soon, so it’s a perfect time of year to re-visit Professor Kristin for our 2nd Annual Back to Beer School chapter meeting! As we prepare for the gridiron grudge matches to begin on the turf & tv screens, this event will focus on a Beer Style Showdown – it’s Motorworks Brewing house drafts vs. their Import Style counterparts from countries around the world!
Game time is at 6:00pm on Sunday August 10th, home field advantage is to Motorworks Brewing located at 1014 9th St West 34205 in Bradenton, FL. There will be 4 quarters of competition (8 total beer samples) and halftime food served by on-site food truck TK Grill (choice of 1 – beef or chicken or pork sliders, veg-friendly grilled portobello mushroom). Total cost per person is $25, before gratuity – please remember to bring a little extra for our amazing host Kristin & the Motorworks team!
Official chapter meeting status means that this event is for ladies only, leave the men on the sidelines this month … =) No advance ticketing or purchase is necessary, but please RSVP/ASAP via Facebook event or Twitter @SRQSmartyPints or email us at: firstname.lastname@example.org
